Healthy Chocolate Fondue


  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tbsp. syrup
  • 1 cup dates (The NSPKU recommends no more than 1 handful of dates, to avoid elevated Phe levels)
  • 1 cup fresh fruit for dipping


  • To make the fondue, hand blend the avocado, cocoa, syrup and dates until smooth. Place in a small bowl.
  • Chop up a selection of fresh fruit and serve with the fondue.
