Perfect for batch cooking and freezing


  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 handful of basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


  • Blend tomatoes, garlic, basil and oregano together
  • Heat oil in a pan and add onions
  • Fry until soft or golden brown
  • Add the onions to the sauce and blend together
  • In the pan, add the tomato puree and then add the sauce
  • Simmer for 10 minutes
  • Pour the sauce into a jar

Double or triple the quantities for batch cooking and store in containers or jars for later use!
